Jörg Erdmann is the new Vice President of the Manufacturing Consulting business unit at Systec & Services GmbH, a Medipak Systems company, the Pharma Systems business area of the international Körber technology group.
The information scientist started his career in 1994 as a software developer. In 1996, he joined the Propack Data GmbH in Karlsruhe, where he has worked actively for the life science industry ever since. With the acquisition of Propack Data by Rockwell Automation, Jörg Erdmann took over Europe-wide projects in various positions. As Business Manager he was responsible for the strategy and commercial results of the life science segment of Rockwell Automation for several years. At Systec & Services, Jörg Erdmann most recently led a consulting team and managed projects for international customers. Since October 2019, he assumed the overall responsibility for the manufacturing consulting business as Vice President Manufacturing Consulting.
Jörg Erdmann succeeds Alfred Schiffmacher, former managing director of Systec & Services, who retired. "Mr. Schiffmacher has helped to establish Systec & Services and continues to shape it to this day," states Gossé. "Since the acquisition by Körber AG, we have valued him as a competent and innovative partner and would like to thank him for his valuable work over the past years," emphasizes Jörn Gossé. "We wish him all the best for his retirement".
