Werum IT Solutions expands its business in Ireland and UK

Lüneburg, Germany / Dublin, Ireland, 12 March 2020 – Werum IT Solutions announces the opening of an Irish subsidiary to better serve the large and growing number of customers with PAS-X installations in Ireland and the United Kingdom. With a new office location in central Dublin, Werum is ideally suited to care for the local customer base while maintaining close links to its world’s headquarters and product development teams in Germany.

As part of the planned expansion, Werum has won the support of a seasoned life science industry expert: In January, Owen Bonner started with Werum as new Director of Sales and Operations, Ireland and UK. He will lead the foundation of Werum’s Irish office in close cooperation with Torsten Isenberg, Senior Director Services, Werum IT Solutions GmbH, Lüneburg: “As our customer base in Ireland and the UK has grown significantly in recent years, we felt that the time was right to open a local office in Ireland,” says Torsten Isenberg. “This local presence will enable us to be more responsive to our customers and to extend the services that we provide to the market.”

Most recently, Owen Bonner led the life science business sector of a leading automation solutions provider and oversaw a significant growth of the business during that time. Previously, he worked in a variety of consulting and engineering roles at different global multinational companies in the life science sector.
